Dear Cheapskater,
We had a special little Cheapskate meetup this weekend - my sister Georgia, who co-runs Cheapskate London with Kate, was in town! We spent Sunday morning at the Woman Before Fashion exhibition at the Skirball, which celebrates the iconic Diane Von Furstenberg. It’s bold, empowering, & beautifully curated - and deserves a visit. (P.S. The Skirball is free on Thursdays!)
As we exit the long weekend, we’re closing out May with a stellar lineup of events celebrating Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month and ringing in Pride Month, with WeHo Pride taking over the streets in full color. From late-night comedy and rooftop jazz to a Smorgasburg-powered Hollywood Bowl kickoff, there’s plenty to check out.
We’re taking a little break for the month of June, but don’t worry — we’ll be back in July with more free, fun, and very Cheapskate picks. Until then, enjoy the start of summer!
