Dear Cheapskater,

Hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend!

The weather has kept us on our toes this week, but that didn’t stop us from heading to an incredible Women in Wine tasting with Venice Beach Wine to mark International Women’s Day. We sipped our way through a stunning selection of women-crafted wines at the beautiful Paloma, while hearing inspiring stories of trailblazing female winemakers—some of whom took over vineyards while their husbands were off at war.

At some point in the night, we may have forgotten everything we learned… but at least we had a great time! Really, what better way to celebrate International Women’s Week than sharing (many) glasses of wine with friends?

Last week, we asked & you answered — wow, was it helpful! It turns out most of our readers are based on the Westside and Eastside, with a solid crew in the Valley and South Bay too. We’ll now be focusing our content on these areas while still highlighting events elsewhere that are truly worth the trip. Thanks for sharing — now we can make sure we’re bringing you the best of LA, right where you want it!
